Are Materials Included in the Plans?No, the materials are not provided with the plans. However, we have included a comprehensive material list to make it easy for you to purchase everything you need. The material list will outline all the necessary items, ensuring a smooth and convenient shopping experience.

Do You Ship the Plans?Our catio plans are digital products, which means they are available for instant download. Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an email containing instructions on how to download the plans. The email will also include a passcode that you can use to access and download the PDF files. This allows for quick and convenient access to the plans, so you can start your catio project without any delays.

How to print the plans?To print the catio plans, please follow these steps: Open the downloaded PDF file on your computer or device. Make sure you have a printer connected and properly set up. What about my HOA?You would need to discuss with your own HOA. Though we have had no issues yet, every HOA is different.

Can I have a Catio if I rent?In a renters situation you most likely will need a freestanding catio and a window that would work for a cat door. We recommend keeping these minimal as you would need to remove it upon moving.

Can I have my cat's litterbox in the Catio?Yes you can! We recommend building a box to cover up the litter box to give your cat privacy and provide a clean look to the area. This also helps minimalize any smell and keeps bugs away.

What areas do you serve?We currently provide service to all of the greater Portland metro area. Will travel for the correct jobs. We can also provide info for catio builders in other parts of the country if needed.

I have a senior cat, would they enjoy a Catio?Cats of any age can enjoy the benefits of a catio. We can add items to fit the personality or life stage of your cat. If you have a senior cat that has trouble with jumping we will add steps or ramps to help them explore their new space.

How long will it take for my cat to get used to a catio?Every cat has a unique personality and will have their own response to the cat door and the outside life the catio provides. We have seen cats take to the door almost instantly. We have also seen cats take weeks to freely roam in and out. We recommend spending time with your cat in the catio if possible. Using toys and treats (make sure to clean treats and not leave food in your catio) will help your cat get used to the sanctuary. Patience is key here.

Can Cats live outside in a Catio all year round?Cats should not live in a catio year-round without proper shelter and temperature control. In cold weather, provide insulated shelters and heated pads. In hot weather, ensure shade, cooling pads, and fresh water. The catio should also offer protection from rain, snow, and wind.
